Eidos Therapeutics, a subsidy of BridgeBio Pharma, is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on addressing the large and growing unmet need in diseases caused by transthyretin, or TTR, amyloidosis, or ATTR. Who You Are

The Associate Director/Director, Alliance Management role is a critical member in achieving Eidos’ strategic objectives through external collaborations with new and established partners. This role’s ideal candidate will interact with Eidos senior leadership and represent strategic business interests with existing and new collaborators.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for aligning development, manufacturing, and commercialization activities for the partnered programs or indications
  • Lead strategic discussions pertaining to partnership matters and potential collaboration amendments
  • Represent Eidos’s interests and provide a single point of communication for seeking/developing internal and external consensus to ensure collaboration objectives are met while maintaining a collaborative working relationship with all representatives and alliance committees
  • Identify, address and resolve any issues related to collaboration activities to keep the portfolio progressing and timelines on track
  • Work closely with cross-functional groups (clinical, manufacturing, legal, accounting) on collaboration matters, provide guidance regarding the letter and spirit of collaboration agreements to internal teams
  • Participate as an active member of the business development deal team as collaborations are structured, negotiated, and executed

Education, Experience, & Skills Requirements

  • Advanced Graduate degree is preferred (Ph.D./MD/MBA)
  • Expertise or experience in established commercial or clinical stage partnerships
  • Demonstrated business acumen and sophisticated understanding of all critical areas of the drug development process: discovery, development, manufacturing, and commercialization
  • Experience managing multiple projects with the ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Effective team player and an excellent communicator with an ability to interact with and influence senior level stakeholders both inside and outside Eidos
  • Ability to work independently within a dynamic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to problem-solve and network with external stakeholders to identify solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Excellent and demonstrated interpersonal skills: the ability to understand and respond to multiple stakeholder perspectives, manage and handle conflict constructively required
  • Able and willing to travel 10-20% of the time
