Role Title:

Director/Senior Director Project Management    


QED is a subsidiary of BridgeBio and focuses on finding and developing drugs for genetic diseases to provide new cures for patients in need. Our team partners with academia and pharma to identify the right assets based on our systematic mapping of the genetic disease landscape, and develops those assets with a highly targeted approach that supports R&D with expert capabilities and places each program in a value maximizing corporate structure that balances risk and reward for partners.    

Position Summary:

We are seeking an Director/Senior Director Project Management to support the Senior Management leadership team at QED. The ideal candidate will have an extreme attention to detail as well as the ability to multi-task and juggle priorities. The role requires someone who is able to organize projects effectively in a rapidly growing, fast paced company. A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are a must. We are looking for someone that can help us build the organization and scaling the companies PM department.

Essential Skills & Functions:

  • Collaborate with the Project Team members to define, plan and schedule activities to satisfy the project objectives
  • Drive execution of the integrated project plan within the project team environment
  • Track and control project activities; ensure co-ordination of activities between all departments
  • Clearly and proactively communicate progress, issues or deviations that may impact the project schedule, timelines and costs
  • Lead team members to identify critical path activities, and resource constraints, risks and conflicts that could impact the schedule, timelines and costs
  • Facilitate and lead effective project team meetings, including the creation of effective meeting agendas and clear documentation of meeting discussion points and decisions taken
  • Maintain and communicate a current overview of project status and issues
  • Assist in budget development and tracking
  • Maintain online project documentation

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical drug development
  • At least 4-6 years of experience managing Phase 2 and 3 stage drug development projects and cross-functional project teams 
  • Management of a large global phase 3 program required 
  • Oncology drug development experience preferred
  • Experience with planning and oversight of project budgets Assertiveness, Proactivity, Professionalism, and Confidence
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent required (scientific or healthcare discipline preferred).  Advanced degree and/or or PMP certification desirable
