Role Title:

Director Project Management

Position Summary:

The Director of Project Management will support the AG10 project team and play a critical role in managing non-clinical development activities. This role will report to the Chief Scientific Officer and will support the non-clinical team across a number of projects in the areas of DMPK, pharmacodynamic studies and CMC activities.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a track record of successfully supporting small molecule drug development programs. This person must be able to communicate across multi-functional teams and work with external vendors. The candidate should have experience tracking contracts, purchase orders and deliverables. The candidate should be comfortable and have a history of performance in a fast-paced environment.

Major responsibilities:
Duties include:

  • Track quotes/POs and deliverables for multiple CROs for toxicology, DMPK, CMC, bioanalysis, and PD assay development
  • Manage CROs with respect to deliverables and maintain timelines for project 
  • Support logistics of patient sample shipment to company labs and CROs 
  • Confirm accuracy of invoices vs contracts/service agreements and deliveries
  • Facilitate processing of legal documents, including execution of CDAs and MSAs
  • Develop & maintain cost of goods sold estimates & projections
  • For earlier stage projects: support drug substance and drug product scale up activities, support GLP toxicology and in vitro DMPK studies and bioanalytical activities 

Professional Experience / Skills:

  • Science degree (advanced degree not required)
  • At least 10 years of experience in small molecule drug development
  • Familiarity with cGMP’s, with US, EU and global regulations applicable to investigational drugs and GCP regulations applicable to investigational product and supply
  • History of performance in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong work ethic and critical thinking skills
  • Drug product supply distribution experience a plus
  • Experience tracking purchase orders and deliverables (timeline, raw data, reports)
  • Ability to proactively identify and solve problems
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Exceptional communications skills and ability to communicate with multi-functional internal team and external vendors
