Who You Are

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and independent thinker to support the development of a small molecule therapeutic for a rare skeletal dysplasia. A successful candidate will possess strong scientific acumen, excellent communication skills, a highly analytical mindset, and an eagerness to learn. This individual will join a small team working to progress an early-stage pre-clinical program toward the clinic and serve as an integral member of our Business Development & Operations function. We are looking for a self-motivated and determined individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is adept at balancing multiple concurrent responsibilities, and is comfortable providing structure to ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic and operational decision-making for the program with research and analytics, including Excel-based modeling
  • Participate in team brainstorming to problem-solve real-time, both within the BD&Ops function and beyond, by identifying opportunities to coordinate and collaborate across functions
  • Assist with analyzing, interpreting, and communicating essential data readouts within the team as well as to Senior Management at BridgeBio
  • Support overall program management, including oversight of how planned activities support the achievement of larger organizational goals, integration and ongoing management of functional-specific plans, and budget management and forecasting
  • Help to facilitate engagement with Key Opinion Leaders and key external research collaborators

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Educational background in a life science discipline (Ph.D. or MD preferred)
  • Prior management consulting or biopharma industry experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems using a structured, analytical approach
  • Exceptional written communication and presentation skillset
  • Excellent organizational skillset, including time management
  • Track record of collaboration and ability to drive success within a team environment
  • Strong desire to learn
  • Intrinsic motivation and “self-starter” attitude
