Who You Are

The Senior Director of Pricing and Contracting will be responsible for executing all pricing strategies and tactics.  A strong understanding of and background in managed markets, reimbursement, pricing, and contracting is required. This individual will be required to strategize, analyze and execute contracts across the company portfolio and provide insights to leadership on an ongoing basis.  This person should be familiar with and be able to discuss different contracting approaches and relevant topics across both IV and oral oncolytic therapies in addition to having a familiarity with orphan products. This individual will also need to operate with multiple internal stakeholders including Market Access, Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Compliance, and Government Affairs. He/she will be required to establish and maintain, as necessary, labeler codes and P#s for Medicaid and Medicare contracts.


  • Develop strategies and tactics within commercial health plans, Medicare, Managed Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Medicaid, ACOs, IDNs, GPOs, etc.
  • Monitor policy and environment trends related to specialty oncology therapies; and distill key impacts to leadership as they relate to pricing and contracting
  • Oversee Government Contract Operations, including ensuring accurate and timely submissions across Government Prices, such as AMP, BP, 340B, URA, NFAMP, and other state reporting and validations of TPA calculations
  • Oversee Market Access Contracting Operations, from contract development to approval and through implementation
  • Drive and create contract and pricing analysis across all books of business in concert with internal stakeholders in Finance, Market Access, Legal, Compliance and Commercial leadership
  • Support data analytics and Accounting/Finance functions where necessary to contribute to the validation of contracts, chargebacks and rebates

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or higher degree preferred
  • 10 years of biotech/pharma experience, three of which must have been in direct Pricing and Contracting work
  • Demonstrated background and experience in analyzing multiple data sets in line with current and future policy in order to build strategies and communicate those strategies to leadership
  • Skilled at oral and written communication of complex data sets and strategies to leadership
  • Expertise in both oral pharmacy and injectable/IV medical benefits, Medicare Part B and D (FFS and Managed), Medicaid, and Federal purchasing programs
  • Solid understanding of the evolving health policy and health system environment for specialty oncology therapies
  • Ability to work interdependently with other departments to execute and operationalize strategies and tactics
  • Competent with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines, stay organized, and be a self-starter
