Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the daily operations of the Procurement function and serve as the hands-on leader that understands and performs the daily tactical and strategic functions
  • Responsible designing, implementing and maintaining the end to end PR to PO cycle in accordance with the requirements of SOX
  • Manage daily purchasing activities, such as the creation of purchase requisition to purchase order and ensure that incoming requests are processed timely
  • Manage and improve the Procure to Pay process ensuring training, policy development, executed documentation, data entry, submission, order expediting, change orders, receiving and reconciliation of related system issues
  • Provide training and day-to-day support on procurement systems, policy and processes for the business unit and/or corporate staff involved in purchasing activities
  • Partner with Legal and Information Technology teams to design, implement and maintain vendor onboarding process
  • Partner with AP to ensure an appropriate match of invoices to open purchase orders
  • Partner with Finance for seamless PR/PO GL coding and tracking of change orders
  • Implement and manage new employee expense and travel tool and continuously conduct employee training through new hire onboarding
  • Implement and manage company travel card program
  • Administer the bank’s corporate credit card program, processing card activation, termination, fraud notification, and spend analysis and reporting
  • Perform credit card reconciliations as needed
  • Respond to internal customer needs with excellent customer service
  • Build, communicate and maintain consistent compliance process for procurement within the purchasing platform
  • Train and develop company employees to follow the compliance process and to develop consistent buying process
  • Collaborate and work closely with Accounting and Finance on month-end close and budgeting projects
  • Work closely with FP&A, IT, Facilities, Legal, AP, Commercial, Clinical, and CMC
  • Manage the annual Fixed Asset process

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in related discipline
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of related experience
  • Biotech experience, a plus
  • Perform a variety of complicated or multi-layered tasks
  • Proven track record of support to teams through process design, change management, communication and negotiation required
  • Outstanding organizational and detailed oriented skills
  • Applies strong analytical and effective business communication skills
  • Experience with procurement automation tools
  • Results-oriented team player who leads by example and holds themselves accountable for performance, takes ownership, and champions all aspects of our business
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office such as word, excel and PowerPoint
