Who You Are

This successful candidate will report to the Head of EMEA, Commercial, and partner with Medical Affairs and the BridgeBio leadership/corporate team stakeholders. The Head of Market Access will lead the efforts to develop a compelling product value proposition supported by robust clinical and economic evidence and to secure optimal patient access and reimbursement for the company’s products with near term focus on the main development asset, acoramidis (AG10), in the planned indications, including amyloid-related heart (ATTR-CM) and nervous system (ATTR-PN) disorders.


  • Build and lead a high performing market access team to ensure launch readiness ahead of upcoming launches
  • Develop, lead and execute access, reimbursement, and pricing strategy for our lead asset
  • Partner with Health Economics and Outcomes colleagues to develop analyses in preparation of a Global Value Dossier
  • Initiate and lead interactions with European health agencies in preparation for reimbursement and access
  • Analyze, synthesize, and translate technical P&R information, including coverage and reimbursement policies, into meaningful decision points, recommendations, and strategic tactics
  • Design and drive the Market Access strategic plan and provide inspirational leadership for the Market Access function to help achieve brand launch goals and company business objectives
  • Continuously analyze the market in terms of potential coverage and reimbursement issues, existing and emerging payer policies, competitive landscape, trends, pricing, contracting strategies, and potential barriers to provider and patient access
  • Provide leadership and manage multiple strategic projects while maintaining an understanding of national, regional, and global perspectives and objectives
  • Partner with Medical Affairs to ensure appropriate focus is applied to economic outcomes in clinical and LCM studies and to develop a pharmacoeconomic methodology, study design, protocol development, data collection, and development of study tools and instruments
  • Lead pricing governance to ensure alignment with all key stakeholders as it relates to establishing price, adjusting price, best price, and other related elements
  • Develops and manages departmental budgets that effectively achieve desired goals that are balanced with the financial objectives of the broader commercial organization

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

  • A BA or BSc is required; a graduate degree (MS, MPH, MPP, MBA) is strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of professional experience within Biotech/Pharma in Global or Regional Market Access with a successful track record in negotiating and gaining reimbursement for new assets
  • Experience in a Biotech/Pharma environment in commercial functions, the experience of managing complex projects
  • Pre-and post-product launch experience in key European markets
  • A minimum of five years of management experience.
  • Ability to recruit, manage and develop a new cross-functional team
  • Ability to lead by example, attract and develop talent, build interdependent partnerships, and create a culture of collaboration and teamwork that fosters open communication, constructive conflict resolution, and organizational flexibility
  • Able to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to develop internal relationships in a high matrix environment, as well as external relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and industry experts
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels and present complex and/or new ideas with clarity and simplicity
  • Ability to prioritize concurrent projects with tight deadlines and operate in a highly compliance-driven environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels within the company
  • The flexibility of approach and a positive attitude
  • A global mindset and foreign languages are considered vital assets
  • Travel (25-50%) may be required to represent the company at medical conferences, presentations, and other meetings
