Who You Are

BridgeBio is expanding its business development team focused on overarching portfolio strategy and out-licensing. We seek an individual who will assist with ongoing external partnership efforts and ongoing diligence of all holding company assets as they progress through drug development. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing activities related to contracting of new partnering opportunities with pharma, biotech, and other external partners
  • Work with internal BBIO and BBIO affiliate teams to develop financial models and forecasts for each asset and potential partnering scenario
  • Develop/refine presentation decks for portfolio assets to be presented to counter-parties
  • Develop insights into the pharma/biotech landscape; identify potential partners for each asset based on the current portfolio, cash positions, deal trends, etc.
  • Attend partnering meetings, maintain a log of meetings, conversations, follow-up and develop insights for partnering strategies based on meetings
  • Work closely with affiliate BD and Ops teams to coordinate BD conversations, stay abreast of program activities and evolution
  • Help develop overall portfolio strategy, identify optimal partnering scenarios on an ongoing basis
  • Will communicate with the executive team and management as an integral member of the team

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

  • One to four years of industry experience as an equity research analyst, healthcare investment banking or consulting
  • Advanced scientific degree from a top school (Ph.D./MD preferred; will consider MA)
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Excellent presentation skills required
  • Passion for advancing scientific discovery to patients as quickly and as efficiently as possible
  • Collaborative team player with self-starting mindset; able to work both independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently
