Eidos Therapeutics, an affiliate of BridgeBio Pharma, is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on addressing the large and growing unmet need in diseases caused by transthyretin, or TTR, amyloidosis, or ATTR. We seek to treat this well-defined family of diseases at their collective source by stabilizing TTR. Our product candidate, AG10, is an orally administered small molecule designed to potently stabilize TTR, a potentially best-in-class treatment aiming to halt the progression of ATTR diseases.

Who You Are:

The Senior Associate/Manager of Strategy & Operations will join a lean team that drives the forward movement of BridgeBio’s cardio-renal division, with a focus on Eidos. Strategy & Operations is responsible for building the scientific and commercial plan for a development program in conjunction with senior leadership. This individual must develop a thorough understanding of the unmet medical need, ATTR journals and publications, and the scientific and therapeutic landscape. The role will include scientific diligence, NPV modeling, business case evaluation, project management, contract negotiations, management, evaluating and executing partnership agreements, and managing the broader project team to achieve program goals. 
Responsibilities:
  • Play a key role in leading subsidiary activities 
  • Coordinate internal meetings 
  • Synthesize large amounts of data in financial models
  • Guide team members and colleagues toward a specific goal or outcome while gaining exposure across all stages of drug development

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements:
  • Passion for getting life-saving medicines into the hands of patients as quickly as possible
  • 2 - 4 years of relevant business experience from top healthcare investment banking firms, equity research, consulting, or biotech industry
  • Ph.D., MD, or BA/BS with equivalent work experience
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving while anticipating potential problems
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity
  • Solid scientific background 
  • Exquisite attention to detail
  • Fast (extremely fast) learner
